​  Preparation  

1. Download and install Mi Home App on Google Play Store / App Store；

2. Register a Xiaomi account and link it to the Xiaoai speaker on Mi Home App.

Link eWeLink account

1. Tap "Profile" of the homepage；

2. Select "Other platform devices"；

3. Tap "Tap to add";

4. Select "eWeLink"

5. Select "Pair with account";

6. Select the country code, enter the eWeLink account and passwords, and tap "Log in";

7. Tap "Sync devices";

​Edit the device control permission of Xiaoai speaker

In order to make sure that the Xiaoai speaker can smoothly control the synchronized smart devices, we need to edit the device control authority of the Xiaoai speaker to avoid the situation of "device does not exist" or "cannot control the device".

1. Tap Xiaoai speaker on Mi Home App;

2. Tap "Control Device" of the Xiao AI speaker page;

3. Select "Voice Control Authorization Management";

4. Tap "Device Selection" and then tap "All Devices".

​Voice Control

1. Make sure that the device name does not contain special characters.

Standard naming: air conditioners, switches, socket, bedroom light, hall fan…

2、Vocie Control

If our device name is living room light, we can say "Xiao Ai, turn on (turn off) the living room light."
If our device name is a fan, we can say "Xiao Ai, turn on (turn off) the fan."

Notifications

If we don't have a Xiaoai speaker, and we happen to be using a Xiaomi mobile phone, we can use the Xiaoai app or Mi Home App to voice control device. For example, if we want to control the bedroom light, after clicking the microphone logo on the Mi Home App, just say "turn on (off) the bedroom light".
