Preparation
- Download and install Google Home App on your phone.
- Sign up a Google account and connect it with your Google Home speaker.
Connect “eWeLink Explore”with Google Home
- Open the Google Home App and tap the icon “+”in the upper left corner
- Select Set up device
- Select Works with Google
- Search for eWeLink Exploreand tap it from the search results
- Select your Country or Region, enter your eWeLink account and password, and Tap Log in
- Choose a device to assign to a room and tap Next
- Assign a Home as well as a room for your device and tap Next
Change Device Information
- Select and tap the device whose information you want to change on Home page
- Tap the Settingsicon in the upper right corner
- Edit the device’s name and reassign its home as well as room based on your need
Ask Google to control eWeLink Support devices
You can invoke some basic commands:
Turn ON/OFF device
Turn/Switch/Power ON [device name]
Turn/Switch/Power OFF [device name]
- Example: “Ok Google, Turn on Switch”
- Example: “Hey Google, Turn off Switch”
OPEN/CLOSE Roller/Shutters
Open/Close [device name]
- Example: “Ok Google, open Curtains”
- Example: “Hey Google, close Curtains”
Check the device OPEN STATE
IS the [device name] open?
IS the [device name] close?
- Example: “Ok Google, is the Door open?”
- Example: “Hey Google, is the Door close?”
Set light COLOR using Google Home
Set /Change [device name] TO [color]
Set /Change [device name] COLOR TO [color name]
- Example: “Ok Google, set the Lamp TO blue”
- Example: “Hey Google, set the Lamp COLOR TO blue”
Tips:
- For better control performance, please specify clear and relevant words (Special characters not work) for each device like “Light”, “Lamp”, “Switch” and so on.
- Say "Ok Google" or "Hey Google" to activate your Google Home speaker and you’ll see its light blinking, which means you could start giving commands to your devices.
