When you start to pair your smart devices, please make sure your smartphone is connected to a 2.4Ghz WiFi network. If you are connecting a 5GHz WiFi, it will result in a pairing failure.
What is 2.4GHz and 5GHz WiFi?
2.4GHz and 5GHz refer to WiFi's radio frequency bands and have no relation with 4G as well as 5G of mobile phone carriers.
How to find out whether my WiFi network is 2.4GHz or 5GHz?
How to enable 2.4Ghz settings on your router?
If your router supports 2.4GHz and 5GHz dual-band WiFi signals, plus your 2.4Ghz WiFi and 5Ghz WiFi share the same SSID, please refer to the below instructions:
1. Please find the IP address, username, and password on the back of your router and visit the router configuration page.
2. Then find the 2.4GHz configuration page, revamp the WiFi SSID as"XXX-2.4G" and tap to save .
3. Use the same way to edit the WiFi SSID of 5GHz as "XXX-5G" and save. (You can also close the 5Ghz WiFi If your router supports it.)
4. After saving, make your mobile phone connected to the WiFi named "XXX-2.4G" for pairing.
*After changing the WiFi SSID, all devices previously connected to the router must enter the pairing mode again.
*The above configuration varies from router to router, so you can consult the router suppliers for more information.
